Former leader of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Funminiyi Afuye, was on Thursday elected as the Speaker of Ekiti State House of Assembly.
Afuye, representing Ikere constituency 1, would be deputized by Hakeem Jamiu, who represents Irepodun/Ifelodun constituency 2.
Tola Esan, clerk of the house, conducted the election.
