Baddo as he’s fondly called can also be regarded as an industry helper, rendering assistance to young and upcoming artistes, being a part of their success story.

Having left ID Cabasa‘s Coded Tunes in 2012 to set up YBNL as a one man label thing, he signed Lil Kesh and Viktoh in 2013 and a year later, Adekunle Gold, Xino and Chinko Ekun joined the bandwagon.

Lil Kesh went on to have an excellent year, hits wise and his debut album, YAGI in 2016 was one of the best we’ve had in recent years.

2017 came and the label grew stronger with the acquisition of YBNL Princess Temmie Ovwasa and Davolee who was famous for his verse on Pepper Dem Gang.

Lyta and Limerick joined in the early part of 2018, and the trio of Picazo, Yomi Blaze and Fireboywere snapped up by Olamide.
